Porter/Boat Washer
Job Description
The service center porter will be responsible for washing and completing final details for boat deliveries back to customers, assisting technicians with service-related work, running needed errands for shop, and assisting service manager with completing other tasks throughout the shop.

The Porter position is a key component in the service department’s customer satisfaction. The position-holder is responsible for cleaning and preparing all boats for delivery back to customers, in a professional and timely manner that represents the quality image Precision Marine enjoys. While also assisting the technicians throughout the shop.
The successful candidate will be able to
- Work in a fast pace, self-driven role
- Apply attention to detail ensuring satisfactory delivery of boats
- Aid service team to help complete onsite jobs
- Complete needed errands to ensure facility has all needed materials/fuels
- Clean/Move/Organize needed items/areas of the facility
- Seek out opportunities to maintain safety and increase customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Good physical strength/stamina
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to interpret complex instructions and/or specification
- Knowledge and practice of shop safety procedures
- Detail-oriented while maintaining high productivity
- Driver’s License (Required)
Working Conditions
- Schedule: Monday-Friday; hours will vary of scheduled shift (7:30am-5:00pm)
- Shop environment that may require kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects.
- May be required to work more than 40 hours during busy season (Over-time will be paid)
